Excalibur signs as Hitachi's New VAR

If you’re responsible for providing tools to accelerate the delivery of quality patient care, you’ll appreciate how Hitachi is taking care of your caregivers. Only Hitachi offers VisionPlate, the easy-to-use, easy-to-carry wireless tablet that keeps patient data secure. And you’ll welcome how it can reduce—by as much as half—your system deployment, administration, and ownership costs.

Excalibur welcomes new RN to the Healthcare Division

Nurse Analyst Marianne Bain, RN BSN
Marianne specializes in helping Excalibur clients with Meditech Pharmacy, Nursing, Client Server/OR Management, Scheduling, PCI, Order Entry, Lab, Radiology, BAR, NPR, NMI, MM, ADM, MIS, MOX, OPS applications

Excalibur depends on the Clinical Analysts to write a summary and complete a comprehensive questionnaire with critical information from every department. We cover those initially involved and those that will be phased into the system sometime in the next three to five years. The summary is then provided to the healthcare organization as a basis for the overall plan.

The Analysts also provide consulting services that support IT and Administrative needs for NCR report writing, Training, Implementation and Optimization, Nursing Modules, Patient Care Inquiry Modules, NUR Staffing & Schedule, On-line MAR for skilled nursing units, On-line MDS for skilled nursing units and Emergency Department Modules.. Although most of the analysts are full time employees for a healthcare facility somewhere in the US or Canada, a few members of the team work part time as nurse/analysts and have recently elected to fill the rest of their time with Excalibur to support training, Go LIVE and IT Outsource programs.

“You see, it’s very important to us that we know we are doing the right thing for our clients. That means we provide the most reliable, credible service and rugged products in the industry and we know we could not be this good without the clinical team.” Jenkins adds. “This is exactly why our company has grown so rapidly and become a trusted, preferred top tier Value Added Resellers for some of the finest suppliers in the industry.”

"Mobile Excalibur Not Stuck in Stone"

(May 13, 2003) LXE Inc., a unit of Norcross, Ga.-based EMS Technologies Company, and Excalibur Integrated Systems Inc., Hendersonville, Tenn., have introduced the MX3-CE, a hand-held computer with wireless connectivity. Smaller than a tablet computer but larger than a PDA, the MX3-CE’s features include a built-in keyboard, Intel SA-1110 206MHz processor, six-inch diagonal touch-screen, and an internal battery the companies say runs more than eight hours on one charge. The mobile hardware uses the Microsoft Windows CE Version 3.0 operating system. It weighs about two pounds and is sealed to resist dust and fluids.
